Iran to take US scandal case to ICJ

TEHRAN, May 10 (MNA) – President Rouhani has confirmed to take US robbery case to the International Court of Justice.

Speaking among the people of Kerman, during his 27th provincial tour, Hassan Rouhani said that "we will not let the Americans to easily defalcate Iranian nation’s money; we will appeal to the World Court."

Pointing to Iran’s situation before the implementation of JCPOA, Rouhani said, “our enemies spoke easily against us, spreading Iranophobia, however, today they cannot make excuses anymore and their comments and remarks against Iran has no place or influence on the public opinion in different countries and communities.”

During the post-sanctions era, Rouhani asserted, we do not need to refer to only one or two countries, without any kind of competition, to buy products with low quality and high price imposed on us; they even blocked our money and put lots of conditions to invest in Iran.

Today the competition is open before us, Rouhani underlined, after the implementation of JCPOA dozens of countries are ready to invest in Iran.

Following the implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, world companies has made direct investments in Iran worthy of 3 billion and 418 million dollars.

Pointing to the US recent seizure of Iran’s assets, President Rouhani noted that "we will not let the Americans to easily defalcate Iranian nation’s money, pursuing the case in the International Court."

“In the near future we will take the case to the International Court of Justice, and will spare no effort to return the money and realize the Iranian nation’s rights," he added.

President Rouhani noted that "today we all should work together to preserve our unity.
